Originally located in Bay City, Michigan,
the main office was relocated to Gladwin,
Michigan in 1978, where the corporate office
remains today. In 2007, Gary's son,
Chad DeShano, became owner and president
of DeShano Companies, Inc. (DCI). DCI encompasses
the construction side of the business, while
Gary continues with development and property
management. The DCI corporate office maintains
a staff of approximately 25 professionals
to manage the over-all business operations
such as accounting, drafting, estimating,
sales, and marketing. The actual building
and construction projects are supervised
by experienced and well-trained job supervisors,
many of whom are fully certified and licensed
as builders themselves. Our construction
crews are made up of some of the finest
